Dipinto Sales eCommerce Platform
Designed and built in 2009, the Dipinto eCommerce Platform underwent a major upgrade in November 2011, bringing huge performance and stability increases, as well as a slew of new features and a new name, ikonic.
Specialising in the sale of photographs from local newspapers, ikonic allows complete customisation of the website, from the image galleries to content-managed pages, from p&p charges to confirmation and dispatch emails. ikonic also has an advanced cropping tool on the website, a terminal for entering orders on behalf of a customer, and automated transfer and image scanning tools.
ikonic integrates with multiple different payment systems, and is fully PCI-DSS compliant, with an industry standard Enhanced Validation SSL certificate (in non-techie speak, the green URL bar in modern browsers that gives customers complete peace of mind).
It doesn’t stop there! In 2015/16, Dipinto underwent further upgrades to bring various sports clubs on board (Liverpool FC, Queens Park Rangers, Rugby Football Union and Stockport County, just to name a few). The public-facing front end of Dipinto ikonic was completely overhauled and made responsive as part of this latest update.
Part of the 2015/16 upgrade was to get Dipinto ikonic talking to Amazon. Any product and image combination that exists in Dipinto ikonic can now be set to appear on Amazon. Any order placed on Amazon will be sent back to the ikonic system for production. All without any user intervention.
Written in ASP.NET 4.0 and using the latest MVC 5.0 technology, ikonic v3 was built from the ground-up to ensure rock-solid performance and stability. Currently serving nearly five million hits per month, ikonic is going from strength to strength.
