VPN, 2FA & 2FA Devices
Cyber criminals are sneaky and they have a multitude of methods to get hold of your login details. And if they know your username and password, they can create all sorts of problems, some of which can be very costly to your business… not just from a financial aspect, but also to your reputation.
We receive panic calls from our customers on a regular basis who have been the victim of a data breach… and these attacks aren’t showing any sign of slowing down.
For additional security you may want to consider a virtual private network (VPN) or two-factor authentication (2FA).
VPN
A VPN is a means of securing communication over the internet, giving you online privacy and anonymity. It encrypts all communications that pass through it, providing greater privacy than even a secured WiFi hotspot. Definitely worth considering if you find yourself using public WiFi in a cafe, airport, hotel, etc.

2FA & 2FA Devices
2FA (or MFA – Multi-Factor Authentication as it is also referred to) provides an extra layer of security. Even if someone were to know your account details, they would have little chance of getting past the next level. With MFA activated, when you login to your account, you will be prompted to submit a code which will have been delivered to your registered mobile device by text or via an app. Without that, you won’t be able to access your account.
We can help with 2FA set up, and we can also provide alternatives to software authentication. Please contact us for more information.
